All clients have the right to receive an ethical and professional counselling service. Entrusted Counselling is committed to the Australian Counselling Association Code of Ethics & Practice.
The Code of Ethics and Practice applies to counsellors work related activities. It includes the clinical or counselling practice as well as research, teaching, supervision of trainees and other activities that relate to the overall general training and employment of the counselling profession.
Clients are required to complete an intake form and consent for Telehealth services, as well as provide personal and payment details, to engage with our counselling services.
All clients under the age of 18 require a parent session for the parents/guardians to meet with the counsellor. Clients over the age of 18 can immediately book an individual session.
For clients under the age of 18 with separated or divorced parents a consent form must be completed by both parents before the client can see a counsellor.
The length and fees of our consultations differ depending on what services you are using at our clinic.
In general, Entrusted Counselling does not record Telehealth video consultations and does not permit clients to make their own separate recording of a Telehealth video consultation.
Where it is clinically relevant to record a Telehealth session, express consent - both written and verbal, must be gained in advance of starting a recording of a session.
All payments are to be paid online through Entrusted Counselling Client Portal 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Appointments will not take place unless full payment is made.
Please note not all cards are accepted through our payment system. It is at the discretion of the clinic to change the payment process at any time during the course of therapy and clients will be notified accordingly.
Clients must provide 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled appointment if they wish to cancel.
In the event of a late cancellation, cancellation fees must be paid prior to the next scheduled appointment.
Entrusted Counselling will contact clients via email or phone as well as through the Client Portal or Mailchimp.
If you require a letter or report written (this includes special consideration forms). Please send a written request to admin@entrustedcounselling.com.au. Reports will incur fees.
